State legislators have approved a bill to allow those with concealed weapons permits to
carry guns into Acadia National Park. Is this a good compromise? Last year, the federal
government repealed an earlier ban on weapons being carried in the parks; the law
allowed states to make their own rules. Will you feel safer knowing another hiker is
