PRESQUE ISLE – Gerald B. Antworth, 85, died Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at a Bangor hospital. He was born May 26, 1924, in Summerfield, New Brunswick, the son of Vernon and Hazel (Brown) Antworth. He worked as a mechanic at Carroll’s Auto Sales for many years. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen (Gee) Antworth of Presque Isle; a son, Gregory M. Antworth of Old Orchard Beach; a daughter, JoAnne Felch of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two brothers, Stillman and David Antworth, both of Woodstock, New Brunswick; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Velma Webster. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, April 5, at Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle, with the Rev. Ron Chaffee officiating.
