PRESQUE ISLE – Paulyne A. Willette 83, wife of the late Lenwood Willette, died April 5, 2010, at a Bangor health care facility. She was born Feb. 22, 1927, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Ray and Doris (Lindsey) Walton. Paulyne graduated from the University of Maine at Presque Isle, after she turned 55. She began volunteering at the Learning Center, Presque Isle, and later taught adult education classes there for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Finnemore of Veazie; four sons, Gene Gildert of Orrs Island, Michael Gildert of Ellsworth, Steven Gildert and his wife, Nancy, of Wade, and Dennis Willette of Unity; three stepsons, Lenwood Willette of Florida, Peter Willette of Virginia and Donald Willette of Presque Isle; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, where funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Friday with the Rev.
