WESTON, Fla., and ORRINGTON – Douglas “Doug” F. Gray, 48, died Sunday, April 11, 2010, as a result of injuries sustained from an accident at his home in Weston, Fla. He was born June 25, 1961, in Bangor, the son of Donald and Dawna Gray. Doug grew up in Orrington. He attended local schools and was a graduate of New Hampshire College. Doug excelled in sales and marketing and eventually founded his own company, Specialty Desserts. He was a very hard worker with many interests and skills. Doug spent several hundred hours researching family history resulting in an extensive “Gray Family Tree,” which he completed several years ago. He was a caring and proud husband and father. He is survived by his loving wife, Tammy; sons, Aric of Laveen, Ariz., and Justin of Lake City, S.C.; his mother, Dawna of Carmel; brothers, Jeff and wife, Kim, of Old Orchard Beach, Bruce and wife, Glenys, of Orrington, Donald and wife, Margaret, of Needham, Mass., and Steven and wife, Monica, of Hermon; and sisters, Robin Stewart and husband, Ronnie, of Orrington and Linda of Carmel.
