NEWPORT – Robert George Cassidy, 39, passed away April 13, 2010, at his residence. He was born July 21, 1970, in Corinna, a son of James and Elsie (McNally) Cassidy. He was predeceased by his parents. Robert received an adult education diploma and went on to further training in the culinary arts. His many friends will remember him for his loyalty and his kind concern for their welfare. He was proud of being independent and willing to assume the responsibility to preserve it. Robert attended High Street Congregational Church, Newport. A graveside memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, April 19, at Riverside Cemetery, Newport, with the Rev.
