BANGOR – Anna Willey died Thursday, April 15, 2010, on her 83rd birthday, after a long illness. Anna’s last home was at the Bangor House, where she enjoyed living very much. Some people in the Bangor/Brewer area will have memories of her working as a waitress at the Bangor House and other restaurants and hotels in the area. Anna is survived by her sons, Frederick “Ricky” Willey and his wife, Lynn, of Santa Fe, N.M., Donald Willey of Austin, Texas, and Peter Willey of Bangor; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and two sisters-in-law, Lynn Jonason of Bangor and Eleanor Willey of Hampden. She was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Maude Jonason; her only daughter, Linda Duran; and both brothers, Leonidas “Leo” and Peter Jonason and his wife, Aileen. At her request, there will be no services. Arrangements by Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor.
