At Mars Hill, Logan McLaughlin tossed a two-hitter, striking out 12 and walking none, to lead the Panthers past the Hawks in a game shortened to five innings.
Garrett Stiles hit a two-run homer to highlight a five-run third inning by Central Aroostook, and Kyle Murray and Mitch Folsom posted two singles and an RBI each. Dan Brewer doubled.
For Hodgdon, Ryan Wellington hit a double and Josh Hudson singled.

At Harrington, Gavin Endre’s RBI single in the bottom of the sixth inning snapped a 5-5 tie and sent the Knights to victory over the Tigers.
Kam Jordan smacked a two-run home run and a double and pitched five innings of three-hit ball with nine strikeouts and seven walks for Washington Academy. Nate Dublin doubled and earned the win with two innings of one-hit shutout relief.
Mike Crowley paced Sumner of East Sullivan with three singles. Dylan Harmon hit a two-run double in the fifth that tied the game 5-5.

At East Machias, Nicole Osborne stroked a double and two singles to spark the defending Class C state champion Blue Devils to a season-opening victory over the Raiders.
Shannon Brown singled twice for Calais, which scored five times in the seventh inning. Ra-chel Cundiff pitched a two-hitter with eight strikeouts and five walks.
Bre Nicely tripled and Andi Flannery doubled to pace Washington Academy. Starting pitcher Christina Ramsdell allowed four runs and struck out six in five innings.

At Harrington, Sarah Leighton singled four times and drove in four runs in leading Sumner of East Sullivan past Narraguagus.
Morgan Whitten singled twice and had three RBIs for the Tigers. Clarissa West had three singles and two doubles and Ashley Pennartz had three singles, a double and recorded seven strikeouts.
Brittany Burke led the Knights with a double and two singles. Rachelle Carver hit two sin-gles.

At Mars Hill, Kristen Long drove in freshman Michaela King from second base on a single in the bottom of the eighth inning to lead Central Aroostook past Hodgdon.
Long had three singles, a double and five RBIs for the Panthers. King added a triple, single and three RBIs. Paige Garrison singled twice and drove in two runs and Brianna Harding had a single and two RBIs.
Mya Gardiner hit three doubles and knocked in seven runs to pace Hodgdon. Anna Hase added two singles and four RBIs.

At Bennington, Vt., Pat Warrington had a triple, double and single with five RBIs and three runs scored in leading Southern Vermont College past the University of Maine at Presque Isle.
Eric Wells had a double and two singles with four RBIs for Southern Vermont. Dillon Desid-erato tripled, singled and scored three runs.
Tyler Delaney led the Owls with two triples, a single and two runs scored. Brian Andrews had three singles and two runs. Corey Fournier singled twice and scored three runs and Stephen Thorne and Corey Harding both drove in two runs.

At Waterville, Bowdoin College of Brunswick scored four unanswered runs in defeating Colby College.
In the seventh, Brett Gorman homered to tie it at 5-5 and Dan Hicks had an RBI single to give Bowdoin the lead. Reid Auger had a sacrifice fly in the second.
Nick Ruocco hit a two-run single in the second inning for Colby. Brendan Gallagher added a two-run triple in the third and Nikolas Atsalis had an RBI single.

Lord had a double and two singles with two RBIs for Bowdoin. Ronan had two doubles. Amy Hackett hit two singles, a double and scored two runs. Lauren Coven hit an RBI double.
Alyssa Lepore led Colby with two singles. Barbara Santos singled twice with an RBI.
