SULLIVAN – Corinne B. (Grant) Tracey, 87, passed away Thursday, April 15, 2010, in Ellsworth. She was born June 10, 1922, in Harrington, one of 12 children to Owen and Grace Grant. She was a full-time mother and homemaker and worked many home industry jobs to help her family. She found great joy in gardening, knitting and baking. She was predeceased by her sisters, Ethlyn, June, Maurie, Carolyn and Margarie; and her brothers, Kenneth and Irvin Grant. She married her husband of 68 years, Elmer E. Tracey, Sept. 16, 1941, and together they had six children. Sadly, he passed away May 26, 2007. She was also predeceased by her daughter, Ramona Moore. She is survived by the remainder of her children: a son, Elmer Tracey Jr. and his wife, Helen; a son, Lawrence Tracey and his wife, Roberta; a daughter, Anita Warren and her husband, Marcus; a son, Levon Tracey and his wife, Polly; a daughter, Lurene Tracey Mathews; son-in-law, George Moore; and her brothers, Carlton, Lawrence, Harold and Shirley Grant. She was blessed with 17 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Special thanks to the Colliers nursing home staff for all the kindness and care given to her in this, the last part of her life. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, at Bragdon-Kelley Funeral Home, Main Street, Milbridge, where a funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, April 22. Interment will be immediately after at Rock Maple Cemetery, Harrington.
