MILLINOCKET – Marie E. LeBlond, 91, wife of the late Gerald LeBlond, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 27, 2010, surrounded by her family at a Millinocket health care facility. Marie was born April 26, 1919, in Fort Kent, the daughter of Eddie and Lucy (Ouellette) Bernier. She was a kind and loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be sadly missed. In addition to her parents and husband, Marie was predeceased by three sons, Richard, Irving and Kenneth LeBlond; two daughters, Geraldine St. Onge and Linda McCue; three sisters, Rita King, June Ouellette and Arlene Ouellette; and three brothers, Conrad, Raynold and Wilfred. She is survived by three daughters, Irma Hanington of Lincoln, Theresa Card and her husband, Russell, of Millinocket, and Patricia Cox and her husband, Robert, of Medway; a son, Donald LeBlond and his wife, Julie, of Bethlehem, Pa.; a brother, Raymond Levesque and his wife, Bernette, of Bangor; and two sisters-in-law, Lorretta Levesque of Old Town and Hesa Levesque of Millinocket. Marie lived a long life and was able to see five generations, 31 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family extends a special thank you to the staff at Katahdin Health Care Facility for their wonderful care. Friends are invited to visit with the family 3-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Lamson Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack St., Millinocket. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday, April 30, at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 19 Colby St., Millinocket, with the Rev. Joel Cyr, pastor, presider.
