BANGOR – Patricia Kennard, 55, passed away April 24, 2010, at Charles A. Dean Nursing Home, Greenville, after a long-term illness. She was born Oct. 24, 1954, in Bar Harbor, the daughter of William and Geraldine (Thibodeau) Lawlor. Patty, as she liked to be called, was a longtime resident of Bangor. She took pride in her home and being a mother, wife, sister and daughter. Patty is survived by her son, Joshua Kennard of Bangor; her father, William and his wife, Donna, of Brewer; three sisters, Ann Dennis and her husband, Edward, of Veazie, Theresa Lawlor and her partner, Rory Morris, of Orrington and Kathleen Emerson and her husband, Daniel, of LaGrange; two brothers, Christopher Lawlor of Jacksonville, Fla., and Joseph Lawlor and his wife, Ellen, of Hampden; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 1, at Woodlawn Cemetery, North Main Street, Brewer. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to your favorite charity.
