CHARLESTON – Friends and family are welcome to gather together for a graveside committal service for Joanne True, who died Dec. 14, 2009, after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. The service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, at Corinthian Cemetery, Corinth, with the Rev. Donald Booker officiating. Those wishing to remember Joanne in a special way may contribute in her memory to Maine Savings Federal Credit Union, Joanne True, 500 Main St., P.O. Box 247, Corinth, ME 04427. Funds will be distributed for funeral services and the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.
