CHERRYFIELD – Katherine Clendon Lamb, 77, died unexpectedly April 22, 2010, of a heart attack at her home. She was born Dec. 7, 1932, in Campobello, New Brunswick, a daughter of the late Victor H. and I. Maude (Calder) Wilson. Katherine graduated from Shead Memorial High School, Eastport. Before her retirement she had a custom drapery and upholstery business in Ellsworth. She was a member of First Congregational Church UCC, Cherryfield, and Order of the Eastern Star Alcyne Chapter No.71, Milbridge. Katherine was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Morton Lamb; a brother, Grant Wilson; and a dear friend, John Brace. She is survived by a son, Robert B. Lamb of New Hampshire; a daughter, Margaret A. Lamb of Washington, D.C.; dear friends, Mark Richmond, Gena Norgaard; a special cousin, Elaine Leslie and her husband, Willard; her family of Deer Island, New Brunswick; several cousins and many friends. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service 2 p.m. Friday, May 7, at First Congregational Church UCC, Cherryfield.
