MOUNT VERNON – Linda Vincent Kinney, 50, died April 8, 2010, at Maine Medical Center, Portland, after a long fought illness. Linda was born June 18, 1959, in Millinocket, to Judy Beck (Vincent) Linscott and the late Kenneth Vincent II. She was the loving mother of Chaz Cirame, who now resides in Alexandria, Va. She is also survived by John St. Pierre of Mount Vernon; her mother, Judy and stepfather, John Linscott; her grandmother, Thelma Beck of Millinocket; her brother, Ken Vincent and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Armbuster, and niece and nephew of Raleigh, N.C.; aunts and uncles, Tricia and Robert True of Belgrade and Debbie and Joe Daniels of Millinocket. In addition to her father, Kenneth Vincent II, she was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Helen Dewitt Vincent and Kenneth Vincent; maternal grandfather, Freeman Beck; and best friend, Vicki Mehuix. Linda led a successful career in real estate and then mortgage banking. She was a lifelong lover of animals; she always had them in her life. In the 1990s Linda became an accomplished breeder of purebred Burmese cats. Her cats went on to be accomplished champions. In recent years Linda became a passionate gardener and became a friend to many in her new town of Mount Vernon. Above all else, she was a loving and doting mother, whose only son was the pride of her life. She will be remembered as a strong, loving woman who always put her family, friends and even strangers first. She will be deeply missed. A service celebrating her life will be held 2 p.m. May 8 at Mount Vernon Community Center, Mount Vernon. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to D.E.W.
