Anthony Stanton (University of Southern Maine freshman), men’s outdoor field rookie, placed third in posting a school-record 6-feet, 8¾-inches in the high jump at the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletics Association Championship.
Orion Winkler (University of Southern Maine sophomore), men’s outdoor field, won the pole vault by clearing 15-2¾ at the NEIcAAA Championships.
Bethany Dumas (University of Southern Maine sophomore from Augusta), women’s outdoor field, scored all 11 points for USM a the New England Open Championships by placing second in javelin and scoring points in the pole vault.
Christina Massey (University of Southern Maine freshman), women’s outdoor track rookie, ran the second leg of the school-record 4×100 group that turned in a time of 49.43 seconds to place 11th at the Open New England Championships. She also was a part of the 4×400 team that placed 16th and placed 16th in the long jump.
