At East Machias, Bre Nicely’s two-run triple with one out in the bottom of the seventh provided Washington Academy the insurance offense it needed to edge Sumner of East Sullivan.

Ashley Pennartz singled twice with an RBI for Sumner, while Hunter Rivers also singled twice and Clarissa West added an RBI single.

At Lincoln, righthander Tayla Trask threw her second no-hitter in as many days and Morgan Mushero singled home the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh as Mattanawcook Academy nipped John Bapst of Bangor.
Trask struck out 10 and walked two. The two runs off her were unearned.
She no-hit Presque Isle 1-0 on Tuesday.
Ashley Crosby scored the winning run after tripling to right center to lead off the seventh. Amanda Gulesian reached on an infield hit before Mushero singled home Crosby.
Brooke Kimball doubled and scored a run.
Laura Jordan pitched a five-hitter for John Bapst with five strikeouts and two walks.
It was a breast cancer awareness game and Mattanawcook Academy math teacher Christina Doore, who is battling cancer, was an honorary team member for the Lynx.

At Dexter, The Tigers scored 19 runs on 28 hits to sweep the Pandas in a doubleheader.

Lauren Crane hit two doubles and Jordan Bells added two singles.
Felicia Thornton had two singles for the Pandas.
