LAMOINE – Carla S. Colby Wofford, 47, of Lamoine and New Mexico, and the loving wife of Bill Wofford, passed away unexpectedly May 8, 2010, at her home, to be with her son, Ben, in heaven. She was born July 10, 1962, in Ellsworth, the daughter of Elizabeth Willey-Wallace and the late Edward Wallace. Carla is survived by very loving sisters, Crystal and Jonathan Medley, Melody and Stanley Fleming, and Pauline Hinckley and David; three brothers, Stanley and Terri, Ralph and Zelma, and Timmy and Jill; two stepchildren, Brandy and Dylan, and Jenna Moores; Bill’s parents, Ron and Barbara; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and aunt, Nancy. Cindy England, her sister, Debbie, and Bettye Colby hold many special memories throughout the years; and too many other friends to name, but you all know who you are. Carla was predeceased by her grandparents; her dad; son, Ben; and two brothers, Ed Jr. and Michael. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. May 22 at the cemetery on Wiswell Road, Holden. After the service there will be a remembrance of Carla held 1 p.m. at her brother Ralph’s home, 79 Sugarbush Drive, Lamoine.
