BREWER – Phyllis M. Fournier, 96, wife of the late Francis J. Fournier, died May 17, 2010, at a Bangor hospital with her family at her side. She was born in 1913, in Orono, the daughter of Octave and Bessie (Lucas) Sucy. Phyllis grew up in Orono and attended St. Mary’s School, Orono. She worked for Orono Pulp & Paper until 1937, when she moved to Brewer and worked at St. Regis Paper Mill, Bucksport. She was a longtime resident of South Brewer and was a communicant of St. Teresa’s Catholic Church. Phyllis loved to knit and cook, and was known to have the best chocolate graham cracker pie. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she is survived by two sons, Allen J. Fournier and his wife, Patricia of Holden, and Roland F. Fournier and his wife, Yvonne of Brewer; three grandchildren, Jill Reynolds and her husband, Dale, Amy Faulkner and her husband, Jeff, all of Holden, and Annette Kinley and her husband, Brian, of Brewer; three great-grandchildren, Emma Reynolds, Madeline and Morgan Faulkner; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends may visit 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 69 State St., Brewer. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. Teresa’s Catholic Church, South Main Street, Brewer. A time of fellowship will be immediately afterward in the parish center. Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Bangor.
