SYRACUSE, N.Y., and ELLSWORTH – Brooke Ashley McMillan, 21, died unexpectedly May 18, 2010, in Syracuse, N.Y., after suffering a stroke. She was born March 27, 1989, in Bangor. Brooke was very fond of animals. She is survived by her stepfather, James McMillan of Lamoine; brothers, Corey and Jason McMillan, both of Lamoine; grandparents, Wayne and Linda Buzzell of Ellsworth; and great-grandmother, Catherine Bragdon of Lamoine. A private graveside service will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery, Lamoine.
