BANGOR, Maine — Bangor Hydro Electric Co. says its customers will see an increase in electric rates.
Rate increases taking effect Tuesday will affect residential, commercial and industrial customers.
For a residential customer with an average bill of $90, the increase will amount to about 4 percent of the total bill, or $3.
The rate for commercial and industrial customers will also amount to about 4 percent of each company’s total bill.
