STOCKHOLM – Charles Drussel Coffin, 72, died June 2, 2010, at his residence with his family by his side. He was born May 28, 1938, in Barre, Vt., the son of the late Drussel and Marjorie (Clifford) Coffin. Mr. Coffin served with the U.S. Navy and married Polly Bolton, Aug. 19, 1963. Dad loved the Lord with all of his heart, and he loved to spend time with his family and friends, enjoying all of the wonders that he has provided for us to share while on this Earth. From the Bible to the Northern Maine woods, from the hardwood ridges and valleys of Vermont to the Rocky Mountains of Montana, he was able to discern and then educate his family and friends on the wonders that our Lord holds in store for each of us in heaven. Surviving, in addition to his wife, Polly of Stockholm, are two sons and daughters-in-law, Kelly and Sherry Coffin of Bozeman, Mont., and Ked and Trina Coffin of Caribou; one brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Marion Coffin of Waterbury, Vt.; a sister and brother-in-law, Dottie and Maurice Fortier of Barre, Vt.; and six grandchildren, Kendra, Bryce, Rachael, Hannah, Elisa and Josiah. Memorial serves will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 5, at Seventh-day Adventist Church, 56 Park St., Presque Isle, with the Rev. Mark Harris officiating.
