BREWER – Liza Gaye Bishop, daughter of Stanley and Liza Pride, died peacefully Monday, June 7, 2010, surrounded by the support and love of many friends and family at home. Liza was a Reiki master and herbalist along with many other healing modalities. She touched the lives of many through her work and friendships. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Brook Wade and her husband, Richard, of Levant; sons, Darren Bishop of Bangor and Nathan Bishop of Orlando, Fla.; grandchildren, Jacob and Liam; brother, Robert Pride and his wife, Ellen; niece, Paige; and nephew, Jordan. A celebration of Liza’s life will be held 11 a.m. Sunday, June 13, at Bookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. After the service, relatives and friends are invited to share conversation and refreshments at Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St., Bangor.
