Caroline Carr stroked four singles and scored a run for Hermon, while winning pitcher Victoria Overlock scattered six hits, struck out seven and hit a double.
Rebecca McDougal doubled, singled and scored the only run for Caribou behind losing pitcher Emily Staples.

At Woodland, the eighth-seeded Dragons scored 11 runs in the second inning to break the game open.
Shelby Bassett pitched a five-inning two-hitter with five strikeouts and posted a double, two singles and two RBIs for Woodland. Ashley Laking plated three runs with a triple and a double and Taylor Cochran hit two doubles with an RBI. Ariel Knights doubled and singled with an RBI and Christine Boomer singled twice and knocked in a run.
