GLENBURN – Richard A. “Dickey” Harriman Jr., 62, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 16, 2010, surrounded by his family at home. He was born Dec. 11, 1947, in Bangor, the son of Richard and Adelma (Boyington) Harriman. Rick grew up in Bangor and attended local schools. After his honorable discharge from the U.S. Army, he joined the Pipefitters Union No. 321 until his retirement in September 2004. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and was a member of Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association Chapter No. 17. In addition to his mother, Rick is survived by his wife of 42 years, Estelle Harriman; daughters, Rhonda Seaney, and Stacy West and her husband, Bill, who was like a son to him; grandchildren, Ashley, Tyler, and Christopher Seaney, Sara Edwards and Austin West; great-granddaughter, Grace Estelle Hast; sister, Brenda Sutherland and her husband, Don; brothers, Brent Harriman and his partner, Sandis Wright, and their daughter, Olivia, and Mark Harriman and his wife, Terri; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Rick was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Howard and Mae Boyington; and his paternal grandparents, Willard and Olive Harriman.
