ST. DAVID – Norma P. (Tardif) Grivois, 62, passed away June 25, 2010, surrounded by her loving family after a courageously fought battle with cancer. She was born Nov. 1, 1947, in Edmundston, New Brunswick, daughter of Philip and Therese (Gendreau) Tardif. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her grandchildren were her life and passion. Giving of herself to those in need was an important part of who she was. Norma enjoyed gardening, scrapbooking and especially her time spent on “dates” with Taylor. Her positive attitude and laughter were contagious and would warm the hearts and lives of those blessed enough to be in her presence. She is survived by her devoted husband, Roger Grivois of St. David; her son, Dennis Grivois and his wife, April, of Milford; her daughter, Tracie Boucher and her husband, Andre, of Claire, New Brunswick; six grandchildren, Taylor Hobbs, Abigail and Chloe Boucher, Jon, Kris and Noah Loring; her mother, Therese of Madawaska; her loving sisters, Verna Tardif and her husband, Daniel, of East Hartford, Conn., Debra Tardif of Willington, Conn., Ruth Dumond and her husband, Wilson, of El Paso, Texas, and Diane Doucette and her husband, Norman, of Madawaska; her cousin, Jeanine (Gendreau) Levesque and her husband, Norman, of Newington, Conn.; her cousin and devoted friend, Jocelyn Bois of Edmundston; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Philip. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 6, at St. David Church. Burial will be held at a later date at Caribou Veteran’s Cemetery.
