BANGOR – Paul E. Lizotte, husband of Ethel N. Lizotte of Bangor, formerly of Fort Kent, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2010, from declining health throughout a long period of time. He was born April 28, 1924, in Fort Kent. He will be fondly remembered for his strong work ethic, love and loyalty of his family, love of animals, and love and passion of the outdoors. Surviving, in addition to his wife of 59 years, Ethel, are his five children and spouses, Linda Lizotte, Brian and Laurie Lizotte, Paula and Steve Vanidestine Sr., all of Bangor, Claudette and Glenn Smith of Bar Harbor, and Lisa and Adam Edgerly of Bangor; and grandchildren, Stephen Vanidestine Jr. and Joe Vanidestine, both of Bangor, Jake Smith of Bar Harbor, and Jeremy Ferris and his wife, Jaime, and their children, Sidney and Michael. Graveside memorial services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, July 10, at Mount Hope Cemetery, 1048 State St., Bangor. All family and friends are welcome and are asked to meet 9:45 a.m. at the cemetery office, State Street entrance.
