BROOKS, Maine — The Maine Fire Marshal’s Office has been called to investigate a fire at a sawmill in Brooks.
WCSH-TV reports firefighters responded at about 4 p.m. Friday and found that the fire had overtaken the sawmill with a canvas canopy, then spread to a slab pile near a house.
No one was hurt, although several firefighters were treated for heat exhaustion.
