BREWER, Maine — A car struck a utility pole late Wednesday night near the intersection of Mill Street and Brewer Lake Road knocking out power to area residents and detouring traffic heading into Orrington. Crews from Bangor Hydro-Electric Co., as well as Brewer police and fire were at the scene of the accident. No one was injured.
