ORONO – Edna Thibodeau, 84, wife of the late Lester Thibodeau, died Aug. 13, 2010, at an Orono health care facility. She was born June 14, 1926, in East Millinocket, the daughter of Mae (Sullivan) and Alvah Elliott. Edna was a graduate of East Millinocket High School and Eastern Maine General Hospital, School of Nursing, where she earned her degree in registered nursing. Edna is survived by her son, Edward Thibodeau; daughter-in-law, Annette Thibodeau; one grandson, Mark; three granddaughters, Erica, Kristi and Amy; six great-grandchildren; and her goddaughter, Judy Door. Edna will be sadly missed by all, including Janet and Robert Thibodeau and Kim and Stan McGowan. In addition to her parents and her husband, Edna was predeceased by her two brothers, Francis Elliott and Alvah Elliot Jr.; and her two sons, Francis and L. David. The family thanks the staff at Dirgio Pines for all the loving and compassionate care she received while there.
