BANGOR, Maine — Police have announced two road closures for this weekend.
Broad Street will be closed from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday for the Downeast Sails Uptown Art Festival.
The police department’s parking division will place a message board and post Broad Street with signs warning motorists of the road closure.
Later in the day, residents on Elm Street are hosting a block party from 1 to 7 p.m., which will close Elm Street from Mt. Hope Avenue to Stillwater Avenue. Access will be allowed for local traffic and emergency vehicles.
