NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. — The University of Maine received goals from four different players as the Black Bears opened their season with a 4-0 women’s soccer victory over Iona College Sunday.
Sady Tobin and Courtney Harnais each netted a goal in the first half for Maine, while Lisa Bijman and Maddie Hill each added a goal in the second half. Stephanie Frenette-Blais and Nikki Misener each tallied an assist.
Meagan Price-Leibenzeder blocked all three shots she faced for the Black Bears.
