WILLIAMSBURG – Avis F. Worster, 75, wife of the late Clarence “Ken” Worster Sr., died Aug. 24, 2010, with her family by her side at a Dover-Foxcroft nursing home. She was born Aug. 12, 1935, in Danforth, daughter of the late Daniel and Nellie McDonald. Her joy in life was being with family. She is survived by three sisters, Freda, Joyce and Ruth; two daughters, Penny Gero and her husband, Douglas, of New Hampshire and Melody Payne of Bangor; four sons, Danny and his partner, Debbie, of Ohio, Jimmy and his partner, Nancy Pilon, of Derby, Clarence Jr. “Kenny” and his wife, Joette, of Cambridge and Frank and his partner, Kim, of Ohio; nine grandchildren, Cory, Heather, Ryan and his wife, Rebecca, Nicholas, Brianna, Jason and his wife, Denise, Kiley and her husband, Jack, Kayla and Frank Jr.; three great-grandchildren, Austin, Karsyn and Silas; and two great-great-grandchildren, Cole and Libby. A graveside memorial service will be conducted 9 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 29, in the family lot at Brownville Village Cemetery with Pastor Stephen Dean officiating.
