J.W. Parks having Seniors Days
The J.W. Parks Golf Course in Pittsfield will have Seniors Day on every Tuesday beginning at 9 a.m. until the course closes. Players must be 65 or over and have a handicap. The cost will be $20 for 18 holes and that will include a cart. If you have any questions, call 487-5545 and ask for Paul.

Rockland schedules maintenance
ROCKLAND — The Rockland Golf Club will have only nine holes open Tuesday, Aug. 31 and Wednesday, Sept. 1, as greens will be aerified. Please call to schedule a tee time. For more information call 594-9322.

Gerry Hodge

BANGOR — Gerry Hodge of Bangor shot his third career hole-in-one Wednesday at Bangor Municipal Golf Course. He made the shot using a 7-wood on the 150-yard 16th hole and it was witnessed by Maureen Hodge and Ken Ferland.
