ROCKPORT – Lynn McDonald and Samuel Higgins exchanged wedding vows on June 12, 2010, at the Blue Goose in Northport, where the reception was held afterward. Lynn is the daughter of Mark and Wendy McDonald of Orland, and Samuel is the son of Dr. Philip Higgins Jr. and Karen Higgins of Rockport. Lynn is a 2002 graduate of Bucksport High School in Bucksport and a 2008 graduate of the University of Maine at Presque Isle with a Bachelor of Science degree. She is an assistant teacher in child care at Penobscot Bay YMCA. Samuel is a 2003 graduate of Camden Hills Regional High School in Rockport and attended the University of Maine at Presque Isle. He is a laborer at Fisher Engineering. The couple honeymooned in New Hampshire and reside in Rockport.
