ORLAND and CHINO, Calif. – Pearl C. (Gilman) Johnson Standley, 90, died Sept. 15, 2010, in Old Town. She was a resident of Chino, Calif., and previously of North Orland. She was born Aug. 18, 1920, in Old Town, daughter of Arthur F. and Adellia May (Beaulieu) Gilman. She is survived by her son, Benjamin Johnson of North Orland; daughters, Lenora Johnson of Chino, Calif., and Amelia Chryss of Seal Beach, Del.; one sister and one brother. Pearl was predeceased by husband, Benjamin H. Johnson Sr., in 1979; husband, Wayne F. Standley, in 1995; her daughter, Delcina Doucette, in 2005; and four siblings. Visitation for family and friends will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17, at Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home, 28 Elm St., Bucksport. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Father Bruce Siket, celebrant. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery, Bucksport. A celebration of life will be after at Victory Grange, North Orland.
