BAR HARBOR — Ashley England scored an unassisted goal with 3:40 remaining in the game Tuesday afternoon to lift Old Town to a 1-0 girls soccer victory over Mount Desert Island.

Annie Cashon stopped nine of 13 shots for the 3-2-1 Coyotes.

Taylor Walls made eight saves on 14 shots for the 1-2-1 Trojans.

At Newport, Brynn Cardozo tallied a goal and an assist as Nokomis earned the shutout over Rockland.

Emalie Bailey, Sierra Fortin and Natasha Howard each chipped in with a goal for the 5-2 Warriors. Emilee Reynolds blocked three of five shots.

Danessa McDonald made five saves on 20 shots for 1-5 Rockland.

Schenck 3, Bangor Christian 0

At East Millinocket, Kaprice Tompkins made 10 saves on 12 shots as Schenck shut out Bangor Christian for its first win of the season.

Krysten Quinn, Kristina Jamo and Kristin Thompson each scored an unassisted goal for the 1-4 Wolverines.

Samantha Martin stopped 14 of 24 shots for the 3-3 Patriots.

Hampden 5, Brewer 0

At Hampden, Michaela Stephenson had a goal and two assists and Anna Michaud had three assists as Hampden Academy improved to 5-1. Brewer fell to 1-5.

Kate Cyr, Chelsea Kuzio, Kayle LeCavalier and Ashley Danforth had the other goals. Julia Snyder and Makayla Clewley made three saves for the Broncos with Missy Thompson finishing with 12 for Brewer.

Medomak Valley 4, MCI 1

At Waldoboro, Emily Leach, Julie Ennamorati and Heidi Obuchon each scored a goal and tallied an assist to lead Medomak Valley by Maine Central Institute of Pittsfield.

Maria Ennamorati chipped in with a goal for the 4-2 Panthers. Brooke Benedict picked up an assist while Amanda Hendrickson stopped three of four shots.

Brooke Stoots scored an unassisted goal in the second half for the 1-6 Huskies. Picabo Morrel made six saves on 10 shots.

Houlton 4, Lee Acad. 0

At Houlton, Chelsi Murray netted two goals to propel over Lee Academy.

Abby Kinens posted a goal and an assist for the 4-3 Shiretowners while Taylor Bailey chipped in with a goal. Marina Cameron made four saves on six shots.

Felicia Thornton stopped six of 14 shots for 1-5 Lee.

Greenville 5, Valley 0

At Bingham, Gretal Breton scored a goal and assisted on another as Greenville improved to 4-1.

Carli Peat, Holly Hersey, Kaylee Warman and Autumn Gann had the other goals and Sidney Richardson made three saves.

Karin McKenzie made 18 saves for Valley.

At Corinth, Central registered five unanswered goals in the second half en route to victory over Penobscot Valley of Howland.

Remay Burke posted two goals and two assists for the 4-1 Red Devils. Max McHugh, Brianna Speed and Taylor Robichaud each added a goal. Sam Brownell made six saves on eight shots.

Morgan Rancourt scored an unassisted goal for the 4-1 Howlers. Jocelyn Thomas stopped nine of 17 shots.

At Dover-Foxcroft, Lexi Larson, Jessica Preble and Sadie Zambrano each netted a goal in the first half as Penquis of Milo topped Foxcroft Academy.

Caitlyn Durant picked up an assist for the 4-0 Patriots. Taylor Pomeraule blocked 16 of 17 shots.

Brittany Dyer scored for the 1-4 Ponies. Haley McLeod made nine saves on 12 shots.

Woodland 4, Shead 3

At Woodland, Molly White scored three goals to lead Woodland over Shead of Eastport.

Hope Howard added a goal for the 5-1 Dragons. Kelsey Worden had 14 saves on 17 shots.

Vanessa Patterson posted two goals and Kirby McPhail one for 2-4 Shead. Taylor Cushing saved 15 of 19 shots.

Deer Isle-Stonington 2, Sumner 0

At Deer Isle, Britnie Jones and Holly Brewer each scored a goal in the second half as Deer Isle-Stonington remained undefeated.

Esther Adams picked up an assist for the 7-0 Mariners. Chelsea Brown made one save on four shots.

Maria Lockhart made four saves on 21 shots for 0-4 Sumner of East Sullivan.

At East Machias, Brandelyn Hodgdon scored the first of her four unassisted goals 8:51 into the first half, giving the Raiders all the offense they would need to beat the Knights.

Hodgdon scored two goals in each half to support Jessie Hardy, who made eight saves on nine shots for 4-1 Washington Academy.

Haley Eckert came up with 12 saves on 18 shots for 0-4 Narraguagus of Harrington.

At Thorndike, Harry Lanphear scored an unassisted goal at 29:55 of the first half to lift Maranacook of Readfield past Mount View.

Sam Nielson stopped four of seven shots for the 6-0-1 Black Bears.

Chris Montminy made four saves on six shots for 2-3-1 Mount View.

Houlton 7, Lee 0

At Houlton, George Bessa and Jimmy Fitzpatrick scored three goals apiece to propel Houlton by Lee Academy.

Gary Fowler posted a goal and an assist for the 5-1 Shiretowners. Dylan Gard, Jordan Russell, Isaac Cone and Bessa each had an assist. Cody Briggs stopped all nine shots he faced.

William Nicholas made 10 saves on 19 shots for the 2-3 Pandas.

Katahdin 7, Ashland 4

At Presque Isle, Micah Rodgerson scored three goals and assisted another in leading Katahdin of Stacyville past Ashland.

Kohle Birmingham had two goals for the 2-2-1 Cougars. Micky Savage had a goal and two assists and Matt Olsen also scored. Jesse McNally saved 12 of 16 shots.

Royce MacDonald recorded a hat trick for the 0-7-1 Hornets. Kenny Tarr had a goal and an assist while Tyler Chasse and Alex O’Clair both provided an assist. Keith Holmes made 22 saves off 29 shots.

At Bingham, Tony DiAngelo collected four goals and an assist to power Greenville by Valley.

Tristan Richards added a goal and an assist for the 4-1-1 Lakers. Alex Jardine and Corey Henderson combined for two saves on four shots.

Brandon Bruyette and Stephen Jackson combined to make eight saves on 27 shots for 0-5 Valley.

Nokomis 4, Rockland/GV 0

At Newport, Jordin McGinnis and Leah Edmondson scored two goals apiece to spark Nokomis by Rockland.

Taylor Lovely, Marissa Shaw and Edmondson each grabbed an assist for the 6-1 Warriors. Maria Adams stopped both shots she faced.

Ciara Smalley made 27 saves on 39 shots for the 2-4 Tigers.

At Rockport, Taylor Porter and Shani Morris each scored two goals to lead the Camden Hills Windjammers to the shutout over Oak Hill of Sabattus.

Katherine Johanson and Charlotte Lemar each had a goal and an assist for the 4-3 Windjammers. Sarah Nason saved all four shots she faced.

Ashley Ward made 14 saves on 23 shots for the 0-7 Raiders.

John Bapst 3, Piscataquis 0

At the University of Maine in Orono, Elise Tilton scored two first-half goals to propel the Crusaders to victory.

Tilton was assisted by Katrina Daigle and her sister Emily Tilton, who also tallied a goal in the first half for 7-0 John Bapst of Bangor.

Aubrey Stanislawski made one save on three shots.

Brianna Tweedie racked up 18 saves on 24 shots for 1-7-1 Piscataquis of Guilford.
