HERMON – Eleanor C. Foster, 76, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away Friday, Sept. 24, 2010. She was born March 22, 1934, in St. John, New Brunswick, daughter of John and Frances Sullivan. In addition to her parents, Eleanor was predeceased by her husband of more than 50 years, Ralph “Pete” Foster; her brothers, Gordon, Harold, Jerry, Ronald and Gregory Sullivan; and sisters, Dorothy Hayes, Mary Yateman and Joan Mullin. She is survived by daughter, Patricia and husband, Robert Toole Jr., of Glenburn; son, Michael Foster and fianc?e, Corinne Dunlop, of Bangor; granddaughter, Kathleen Toole of Ellsworth; grandson, Tristan Toole of Glenburn; and siblings, John and Edward Sullivan, Anna Dupont and Patricia Madore. A private committal service will be held Thursday at Maine Veterans Cemetery, Augusta.
