WINTERPORT – Harlan Floyd Betts, 83, passed away peacefully Sept. 27, 2010, at a Bangor nursing facility. Harlan was born Feb. 25, 1927, in Brewer, to Leland B. and Gladys (Davis) Betts. Harlan served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He then drove tractor-trailer truck for 32 years and then drove school bus for 11 years. Harlan is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jeannean (Abbott) Betts of Winterport; and his children, Gordon Macy Betts and Richard Michael Betts. At Harlan’s request there will be no services.
