Husson University, Maine Maritime Academy and the University of Maine-Farmington will all host hall of fame induction ceremonies over the weekend, which is homecoming for all three schools.

At Husson in Bangor, a Sports Hall of Fame dinner and ceremony will be held Friday at 5:30 p.m. at the Campus Center. Inductees include Shawn Bolden (Class of 1989), Beth Miller (1987), Jason Hill (1997), Jeremy Nelson (2001), and Chris Funk (1999). Husson will also retire the jersey of multiple-sport star Shelby Bradford (Pickering) (2010).

On Saturday, five people will be inducted into the Husson Alumni Hall of Fame: Dr. Teresa Steele of Brewer, Earl Randy Grava (1965), Carolyn M. Dorsey-Durepo (1991, 1995 and 2001), Raymond J. Cota (1968), and Cathleen C. Santos (1990).

Maine Maritime Academy’s Mottola Mariner Athletics Hall of Fame will induct three new members including  Emile Girard (1964) and Joseph Moran (1964), who were teammates and linemen who helped lead the Mariners to a 26-7 record over four years, and Adam St. John (1985), a 1,405-point basketball scorer.

The induction ceremony will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the BIW Center.

The University of Maine-Farmington’s Athletics Hall of Fame banquet and induction ceremonies will welcome five new inductees starting at 6 p.m. in the university’s North Dining Hall.

This year’s inductees are Mike Ridley (1992), Chris Bessey (1993), Debbie Gagnon Gendreau (1993), Candice Berger Parent (1993) and Peter Grosso (1995).
