LEE, N.H. – Imogene E. Watts passed away peacefully Oct. 4, 2010, at Bellamy Fields Assisted Living Facility, Dover, N.H., with her family by her side. She was born Jan. 15, 1924, in Columbia Falls, daughter of the late Wellington and Rhoda Rockwell. She was a member of Machias Eastern Star, Chapter No. 83; Community Club, Roque Bluffs; and a former member of Jonesboro Grange. She loved doing crafts and spending time with her grandchildren. She was loved by all that knew her and will be dearly missed. She was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd Watts; sister, Madeline Worcester; and grandson, Fernald Rockwell Jr. She is survived by her son, Fernald Rockwell and his wife, Sue, of Northwood, N.H.; daughter, Carla Corey of Lee, N.H.; brothers, Ansel Rockwell and Cecil Rockwell and his wife, Eunice; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Special thanks go out to all the staff at Bellamy Fields that gave such loving care to her and her family during her stay. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 7, at Purdy Memorial Chapel, 2 Concord Road, Lee, N.H. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Oct. 12 at Columbia Cemetery, Columbia.
