LINCOLN – Celia Marie (Bertrand) Lemieux Kilbride, 97, passed away Oct. 28, 2010, at a Lincoln hospital. She was born Feb. 3, 1913, in Old Town, the daughter of Anthony and Gertrude Bertrand. She attended Old Town High School and Beal Business College, Bangor. She was married to Albert A. Lemieux in 1931 until his death in 1973. She was married to Kenneth Kilbride in 1976 until his death in 1991. Celia was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Old Town, and St. Mary of Lourdes, Lincoln. She was a charter member of Daughters of Isabella, Old Town and Lincoln. She managed Carroll Cut Rate store, Old Town, for many years, and was also the food supervisor at Wells Commons at the University of Maine, Orono, for 15 years. She enjoyed reading, gardening, traveling and playing cards with family and friends. Above all, she dearly loved and enjoyed her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a generous caregiver. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends. She is survived by her children, Dorothy Cunningham and husband, Dorris, of Arizona, Bertrand Lemieux and wife, Joyce (Kennedy), of Florida, Nancy Kilbride and husband, Stuart, of Chester and Judith Harriman and husband, Chester, of Gray; a stepdaughter, Corrine (Kilbride) Mones and husband, Max, of Connecticut; 12 grandchildren, Scott Swan of Tennessee, Karen Girvan of Alaska, Russell Lemieux of Georgia, Daniel Lemieux of Virginia, Jeffery Kilbride of New Jersey, Glenn Kilbride of Illinois, Kimberley Nicastro of Lincoln, Michelle Weatherwax of New York, Terri Harriman Mascis of Scarborough, Shannon Harriman of Nepal, Donna Mones of Virginia and Marsha Mones of Connecticut; 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church, Lincoln, with the Rev. Myles Cyr, presiding.
