PORTLAND, Maine —  Former Gov. Angus King endorsed independent Eliot Cutler in the race for Maine governor during a brief announcement Saturday afternoon at Cutler’s campaign headquarters in Portland.
King, who served two terms as an independent from 1995 to 2003, said, “I really think that Eliot is the right guy for the state in 2010.”
