PORTLAND, Maine — Police say thieves stole 78 new computers worth $60,000 from a Portland school that was under construction.
Authorities say the Apple computers still in their boxes were swiped from the Ocean Avenue School between midnight and 2 a.m. Thursday.
The computers were being stored in a room while the school was under construction.
Portland police are asking anyone with information about the crime to contact them by phone, the department’s web page or text message.
