MAPLETON – Pauline C. Beaulieu, 81, wife of the late Wilfred Beaulier, died Nov. 15, 2010, at a local hospital. She was born March 12, 1929, in Wade, the daughter of Alan and Celia (Day) Richardson. She was a supervisor at the Loring Air Force Base laundry for many years and then worked in the accounting office at Zayre department store for many more years. Pauline enjoyed hunting fishing, traveling, spending time with her family and providing a welcoming atmosphere for all the neighborhood kids. She was often heard saying, “There’s always room for one more kid here.” She was a member of Ladies Red Hat Society and was often seen helping out at Martha and Mary’s soup kitchen. She is survived by a son, Bruce McEachern of Presque Isle; four daughters, Wilma Jean Jackson of Mapleton, Sally Bolstridge of Gorham, Ruth Stephenson of Campton, N.H., and Ruby Shorey of North Pole, Alaska; two brothers, Elwyn Richardson of Castle Hill and Isaac Richardson of St. Joe, Mo.; three sisters, Lela Kelly of Rochester, N.H., and Mary Baker and Ethel Doody, both of Washburn; 23 grandchildren, more than 60 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Pauline was predeceased by three children, Edith Goodine, Calvin McEachern and Ronald McEachern Sr.; and a grandson, Ronald McEachern Jr. Relatives and friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, where funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday with Pastor Carlos daCruz officiating.
