BANGOR – Kirk A. Smith, 22, passed away unexpectedly Nov. 16, 2010, on the way to a Bangor hospital. In his life, he was loved and cherished by all his family and friends. He enjoyed being with people, camping, fishing, driving and finding a way to make people smile. Kirk was a son to Alfred and Jeanne; brother to Shawna, Justin, Brandi, Brock, Ross, Amanda, Shianne and Brandon; grandson to Jim and Peg; partner to Julia; father of Lilly; papa to Sheray; nephew of Carrie; cousin of Joshua and Kelly; and special friend of D.J., Mark, Lynn, Adam, and numerous extended family members and friends. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 300 State St., Bangor, with Pastor Jerry Mick officiating. Interment will be afterward in the family lot at Pine Grove Cemetery, Bangor.
