BRISTOL, Conn. – Eveard R. Doody, 62, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010, at Bristol Hospital, Bristol, Conn. He was born Aug. 12, 1948, in Caribou, son of the late Ivory and Lela (Langley) Doody. Mr. Doody, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, was the former owner of NesConstuction, Inc. He loved hunting, fishing and restoring old tractors. The farm was his favorite place to be for barbecuing and entertaining family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Marie (Corbin) Doody of Bristol, Conn.; his son, Scott and his wife, Kelli, and granddaughter, Madison Doody, of Caribou; his son, Mark Greene of Bristol, Conn.; his brothers, Dana and his wife, Ina Doody, Frank Doody and Wendell Doody; sister, Linda and brother-in-law, Paul McCrossin; his sister-in-law, Frenchie Doody; mother-in-law, Phyllis Corbin of Belgrade; sister-in-law, Diane Allen of Manchester, Conn.; brothers-in-law, Ralph and his wife, Ruth Corbin, of Belgrade and Fred and Shirley Corbin of North Berwick; sisters-in-law, Barb Corbin and Tim Briggs of Bristol, Conn., and Kathy and her husband, Steven Daigle, of Bristol, Conn.; his little dog, Baylee; his special friend, Joann Donahoe; a special niece, Cheryl Wallace; many other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Ronnie, Mike and Malen; and sisters-in-law, Jane and Gloria. A burial with military honors will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 29, at Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou.
