DOVER-FOXCROFT, Maine — A former Purcell, Okla., man wanted in his home state for first degree rape was arrested Monday in Dover-Foxcroft.
Paul Eugene Snow, 44, was arrested at 3 p.m. at a Grange Street home he shared with a woman, according to Police Chief Dennis Dyer.
Dyer, who made the arrest Monday, said Snow did not resist arrest.
Snow is wanted on a felony warrant by the Purcell Police Department, according to Purcell police Capt. Chris Coker. Coker said Monday that the alleged incident occurred on Aug. 12 and involved Snow’s ex-wife.
Dyer said the Purcell Police Department first had contacted Mechanic Falls police in the belief Snow was living there. It was Mechanic Falls police who contacted Dyer.
