OLD TOWN – Fern Stormann, 75, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010, at a Bangor hospital. Born March 1, 1935, in Danforth, she was the daughter of Ernest and Claire (Butters) Tucker. Fern graduated from Danforth High School in 1953. Moving to Old Town, she was employed for many years in area shoe shops. She was predeceased by two sisters, Beulah Golding of New York and Althea Lakes of Massachusetts; and one brother, Edward of Massachusetts. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Gerald Stormann; seven stepchildren, Tom of Utah, Gerald E., Jody, Bill, Tina Howland, Theresa and Rose Mary Cole, all of Kansas; a sister, Marjorie Tripp of Dedham; brothers, Lewis of Bangor, George of Bradley and Paul of Milford; many nieces and nephews. At her request there will be no service. A burial will be at a later date in Danforth.
