HANCOCK – Andrew Smith, 51, passed away Nov. 30, 2010, from lung cancer. He is survived by his sister, Candice Braley and her husband, Clay, of East Holden; brother, Joey and his wife, Tina, of Franklin; nephews, Matt and Shane; niece, Cayla; and special “niece,” Shyra. Andrew acknowledged several close friends, Brent, Judy and Evan Cardimino of Dedham, Dana and Bill Spencer of Bangor, Jim Kane of New York, Chuck and Kathy Crowe of Bangor, and David and Julie Reed of Holden. Andrew was predeceased by his parents, Ruth and Myron Smith; as well as his wife, Elizabeth Jane. Per Andrew’s wishes, there will be no funeral. His ashes will be placed beside his wife’s ashes in the family cemetery in Greenup, Ky.
