A Norway man who was incarcerated in 2025 after being convicted of murdering his wife has died.

Andrew St. George, 64, died at about 9:20 a.m. on Tuesday, the Maine Department of Corrections said in a statement. He was a resident of Mountain View Correctional Facility in Charleston.

The department did not release any additional details about his cause of death.

Police found the body of 60-year-old Barbara St. George on July 7, 2023, under the tire of her husband’s pickup truck in the driveway of their home on Greenwood Road in Norway.

The couple’s son said Andrew St. George called him and admitted to running over and stabbing his wife, according to an affidavit. He also allegedly told his son that he was going to kill himself.

He was serving a 37-year sentence.
