BLAINE – Louise C. Bell, 93, died Dec. 14, 2010, at her home. She was born Jan. 26, 1917, in South Jefferson, daughter of Charles and Georgia (Gilcott) Newell. Louise was predeceased by her first husband, George Caldwell; her second husband, Frank Bell; and sons, David and Jerry Caldwell. She is survived by two sons, Ronald “Buddy” Caldwell and his wife, Bess, of Tennessee, and Roger Bell and his wife, Cindy, of Mars Hill; two daughters, Carolee Kline and her husband, Clarence, of Hagerstown, Md., and Patricia Burgher and her husband, Norman, of Mars Hill; daughters-in-law, Brenda Caldwell of Bridgewater and Jean Caldwell of Mars Hill; 14 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. Private funeral services will be conducted Monday, Dec. 20. Interment will be at East Blaine Cemetery.
